There are many seasons the LORD has led me through that I have begged Him to explain, while the answer does not always come, He reminds the deepest parts of my soul that it is His will and His timing that are pleasing and perfect.
Moments will come that shake our faith; the LORD never promised a perfect white picket fence life. He promised to make space for us to come and surrender our fear, exhaustion and anxiety before the throne of grace, and asks us to offer ourselves the same grace Jesus shows us through trial.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. - Hebrews 4:15-16 NKJV
How often in the midst of silence and battle do we look for signs and wonders? While scripture calls us to come boldly before the throne of grace so we may receive His mercy and grace.
Your weakness does not disqualify you from His plans for you. There are times we need to let ourselves be held by our Father in Heaven, to reveal the right direction in the midst of trial.
The moment you find yourself in weakness and distress, it is not your sentence, it is not the verdict that hangs over your life. Our Father in Heaven writes your story and covers you with His love.
May I offer you this reminder: it is safe to come with boldness before the throne, to surrender to our Father and let Him hold what you were never designed to carry alone.
