We join with the celebrations across the world for Father’s Day, and I especially wish to thank my spiritual father, Senior [Pastor Anwar Fazal](https://www.facebook.com/AnwarFazalOfficial?__cft__\[0\]=AZYBYNuYO8u7XMmsvZdWwy8VsNtx1D9eDAOZTc2AquqKybOJd8YdORGRnFwENQ2ml2xRVwEEyAn_pPQ5Ir4lYE06nvq4ykO9RFcPDWt-WrW6uElJV-MZoZi05bzD1dCqcbnQgTD76tRnjFF-GibInKor&__tn__=-\]K-R).
The role of a father and spiritual father is to nurture their sons and daughters through the seasons and trials of life; to steward them into the everlasting arms of our Father in Heaven.
I count each day as a blessing to walk with a role model who uplifts, encourages, and guides in times of need.
Scripture says, “As you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory” (1 Thessalonians 2:11–12 NKJV).
May our Father in Heaven bless every father, whether literal or spiritual, and every elder who faithfully strengthens others with wisdom, gentleness, and love.
