Opinion or Scripture?
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work - 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV.
There are many voices, but one Bible. There are many opinions, but one King of Kings and LORD of Hosts. Even the enemy quoted scripture while Jesus was in the wilderness, trying to twist the message His Father had revealed to Him.
Too often, a message is opinion while framed as biblical, for example, a building is a blessing, but it is not His body. Jesus did more than come to pay a light bill; He came so that we could be part of His body, as it says in 1 Corinthians 12:27 NKJV: Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
Therefore, if you believe in Jesus and all He did for you, that makes you individually part of His body; we become subject to Him who sits on the throne of grace.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. - 1 John 4:1 NKJV
Sometimes, all it takes is a reminder to stop relying on man and turn to Scripture. There is so much Jesus has for you in each season we carry. Jesus calls us to lay ourselves down, to follow Him and to become familiar with His voice. He knows us so well; we are called to explore the Scripture and to pray so that we can know Him more deeply.
