Are you performing, or are you preaching?
Too often, I hear of pastors spending a week perfecting a sermon the LORD could have breathed in five minutes.
Have we, in the Western Church, drifted so far from the rhythm and flow of the Holy Ghost?
In Africa, Asia, and much of the world, you can be called upon to speak five times a day with little warning or preparation, yet the Word still comes in power.
So why do we intellectualise God off the field?
Why do we act as though the Spirit is bound by our schedules, outlines, and polish?
The Gospel is not a performance.
It is the breath of God through His people.
It’s time to breathe in step with His Spirit again.
May we speak when He says, “Speak,”
and be silent when He says, “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Blessings,
EMP.
