Jesus is confrontational, and if you know Him, you would understand: If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.
– Mark 3:24-27 NKJV
Jesus exposes accusation, and how absurd it sounds in the Kingdom of Heaven, He reveals that there is an opposing Kingdom that is organised, real and deeply oppressive of its people. Greater is He who is within us, for Jesus is stronger than anything else in all creation.
Jesus walks into territory that may look dark, He casts out the evil within it and returns to His people what was stolen with an even greater blessing. A kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. When you call the name of Jesus, Satan’s Kingdom cannot stand, and he must flee for the light commands it.
Scripture calls us to remain and to endure in the name of the LORD, for Jesus declares that a divided dominion will collapse, and the structure that is at war with itself is already being rightly judged.
Satan cannot cleanse or liberate captives; he cannot create and is only capable of perverting.
But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters. – Luke 11:20-23 NKJV
Do you feel repressed? Or captive? This is your invitation to align with the Kingdom of Heaven or face being scattered, for Jesus is at hand, and He will expose and deliver the goods and spoils the enemy has taken from you. Jesus Christ is your rear guard, and He will protect you in your moment of need.
Pray in the name of Jesus that His Kingdom come upon you, and trust you will receive a peace that transcends understanding. He will deliver you from evil when you surrender to Him and trust Him to guide you in these moments. Join with me as we pray for an exposing and cleansing of the body of Christ.
