What does it sound like when light casts out darkness?
“Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3, NKJV)
Darkness is not an equal force, and neither is it a rival that matches the Kingdom of Heaven. Darkness is absence, distortion, concealment, rebellion, blindness, and bondage that must flee when God reveals Himself to you.
Light emanates after utterance. Before there is separation, there is speech, and before there is beauty, there is a command. The Kingdom of Heaven has an order that does not rely on our opinion to move.
Darkness does not answer back. There is no whispering uncertainty or debating chaos. There is no need to study or listen to it speak… “And God divided the light from the darkness.” (Genesis 1:4, NKJV)
Light divides as it separates confusion from truth, spirits from Holiness, what is counterfeit is divided from what is pure. This is the sound of Holy Distinction.
When Jesus moves, it cuts through the fog, it offers clarity in compromise, and the LORD draws the lines that men and that kingdom have blurred.
Light is confronting, and it exposes before it settles. Darkness likes to be hidden, yet the light removes its cover and forces it to yield in the name of Jesus Christ.
When the light of Jesus comes upon your life, those around you of malicious intent will find their mask starts to slip, the false sense of peace begins to crack and secret motives surface.
“The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined.” (Isaiah 9:2, NKJV)
When the light shines, it does not just expose but also illuminates your arrival; it is the morning you never thought you would see.
Your night is not forever; you have never been abandoned, and God has entered the room. Trust him to prepare the way before you.
