Do you struggle letting go?
I have found trauma conditions the mind to believe that the LORD ministering into our heart/soul is unsafe (Proverbs 4:23). Being in an unhealthy environment reinforces that mindset.
Safety begins when we take a moment to check ourselves and our environment. (1 Peter 5:8) Prayer is not an isolated experience as the enemy would have you believe; our tears move Heaven, and when you call upon the name of Jesus in a moment of distress, He commands Heaven’s armies on our behalf.
In our trials and troubles, we must move from promise into action. (James 1:22) When we pray a prayer of repentance and seek His Kingdom afresh, He will send His helper, the Holy Ghost, and He will illuminate the path that we can choose to walk with Him.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

The Father is not cruel to the brokenhearted. (Romans 2:4) He does not shame us with a trembling soul; He heals us with truth; He restores what He reveals with His holiness.
Repentance is taking all that separates us from the LORD and surrendering it to the throne (James 4:7). We are releasing ourselves from agreement with the enemy. Surrendering is taking all that we have held onto and knowing that as we let go, the LORD does not leave us empty.
What was once held in fear will become your biggest testimony as the King takes His place in your life.
