Sometimes your win is just over the hill.
The world is inherently designed to keep you in it, to focus on the things around you, and to prioritise the preservation of self over the biblical restoration of the Bride.
In the face of a crisis, just like the disciples on the boat, it becomes easy to lose focus on Jesus as we stare out to sea and fix our eyes on the crashing waves around us. (Matthew 8:23–27)
But Jesus! He commands the waves of the sea to hush, and He rebukes the disciples for their lack of faith; how similar our paths can be.
No matter your lack, need, or desire, the LORD walks beside you and is waiting for you to turn to Him and trust that what He has is good, and that His plan for you is one to prosper you. (Jeremiah 29:11) He is a gentleman.
